This is a modern theatre, well furnished to a very high standard, with good facilities and friendly staff. A number of plays are staged here every week. There is a parking lot downstairs, which is very convenient, but the parking fee is slightly expensive.
Saw Kevin McCloud and was impressed with the clean facilities, great seats and food options.
We were in the back row, but still the acousrics were flawless, thank you.
We went to a show at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre and was easy to get to straight from the car park, best advice is to pre-pay your parking
Went to the ASB threatre in the Aotea Centre to watch Jimmy Carr. Layout and staffing was great, bar was setup well and service was fast. Ticketing and seating was very well done
Beautiful venue, easy access to parking without needing to go outside, great in the winter.
I enjoyed the workshops held here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cafes and other food places are everywhere. I came here for the Auckland Writers Festival and this venue was perfect.
Amazing venue located in the heart of Auckland and the Aotea Arts Quarter. The Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre is New Zealand's largest modern tiered auditorium & is truly stunning after all the renovations. The cafe is also a good spot for a quick bite to eat.
A bit confusing with the multiple levels and different letters of entrances that correspond with your ticket. Very beautiful stage and the seats were nice and comfortable. I enjoyed the performance (Giselle) very much.
Not sure if it's the case with all performances or just this one but when they sell the programmes in the beginning there are staff with stalls in all levels but they only accept cash. If you don't carry cash with you, you have to go all the way to the bottom :)
I ended up forgetting my phone on my seat and the staff helped me quickly and were incredibly nice about it too! (Thank you so much again!!!)
Fantastic theatre, lots of memories here from Choir performances, APO and ASO concerts and more!
